WHY NOW?

We have been facing unprecedented attacks in our state. Ohio has been a battleground for attacks on voting, free speech, education, LGBTQ+ youth, and abortion. At every turn, however, young organizers and community leaders have stood up to advocate for a better Ohio, protect our democracy, and make sure our voices are heard. 

By mobilizing and organizing at the grassroots level—building power from the bottom up—we are changing what’s possible and creating new opportunities for the future. 

In the past, everyday Ohioans joined together to vote in overwhelming numbers and win popular solutions to the things we care about—better jobs, safer workplaces, and stronger communities. We can do the same!
